Last Thursday, August 7, the Demo Day celebrating the 15th anniversary of Start-Up Chile brought together leaders from the innovation ecosystem and 15 selected startups to showcase their solutions. Among them were Bifidice, Giraffe Bio, Lab4U, SoyMomo, FirstJob, Nutrix, QCart, GoodMeal, Casoca, Cheers, ByBug, Búho, Instacrops, and BraveUp!.
“In each of these startups and their results, we can see the impact, diversity, and technology that this public policy has contributed since 2010. We believe they are a source of inspiration for all those who want to be part of the future of the innovation ecosystem,” said Javiera Araneda, Manager of Start-Up Chile.
In this context, PhageLab was recognized as the Best Startup among all those that have participated in this iconic acceleration program since its creation in 2010, a milestone that reflects the impact of our bacteriophage-based technology and the sustained work of our team.
“Start-Up Chile is an extraordinary and very emblematic project, through which startups of tremendous impact have passed. Being recognized as the best of these 15 years is deeply gratifying and reflects both the work of the entire PhageLab team and our commitment to a greater purpose,” said Hans Pieringer, CEO of PhageLab, who also led the pitch session during the event.
This recognition reaffirms that there is always room for innovation, and that the talent and potential to create high-impact solutions remain stronger than ever.
