PhageLab at the SBSA 2024

The poultry industry is undergoing a transformation driven by technological and scientific advancements, and that’s why we’re thrilled to invite the community to join us for an exclusive event during the 24th Southern Brazil Poultry Symposium (SBSA). On April 10th, starting at 12:30 pm (GMT-3), we’ll be in the Agostinho Duarte Room at the Plínio Arlindo De Nes Cultural and Events Center in Chapecó.

We’ll share how the use of Bacteriophages and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is achieving incredible results in combating Salmonella in poultry production, with two talks, one by renowned Dr. Luiz Felipe Caron and another by our Chief Technology Officer, Pablo Cifuentes.

Only a few spots left. To participate, sign up here:

This Saturday, April 6th, at 10 am (GMT-3), we’ll have a session to give you a sneak peek of what the SBSA event will be like with Dr. Caron and our team, along with an important part of the AviNews team, Eliana Panty, and Priscila Beck, their Communications Director.

AI-based diagnostics to mitigate global health risks: PhageLab’s approach to health solutions

By Pablo Cifuentes

Pablo Cifuentes will share our innovative strategy in AI-based diagnostics and how we use it to identify and mitigate health risks in poultry globally.

Our role

At PhageLab, we’ve conducted important field research demonstrating the importance of developing optimized in vitro bacteriophage cocktails, which show high lytic efficacy against Salmonella and great potential for in vivo application.

Technology is crucial, and our microbial bioinformatics platform uses AI to create customized solutions that provide effective results, helping to reduce our response time.

Our goal? To bolster Brazil’s efforts to become the world’s leading food provider by 2030.
